Hi Friends!
How are you? We have been so enjoying the warm weather in Upstate NY! I’ll take it as long as we can get it! Since we’ve moved into our 1805 dream house, all I’ve wanted to do was decorate, but I had to wait until we were unpacked and the painting was completed. It was KILLING me not to be putting pretty things on the wall. Finally this week I was able to take on a couple of fun transformations! Here are two….
Created a gallery wall over the mantel in our living room.
John built me a dining room table! I’ll share pictures of it soon, but here is its first place setting. An early Thanksgiving feast with John’s side of the family.

This week’s furniture transformation is a custom order from Erin. She wanted to take this old bruised dresser and turn it into an eye catching piece in her home. Here it is before:
We painted this dresser using Behr’s color Silvery Moonlight. If you’d like to see how we paint furniture, check out our How to Paint Furniture post. After we painted it, we also glazed it using Valspar’s Antiquing Glaze. Erin also wanted to use all of the original hardware, but painted gold!
