How are you? We’ve been having a good week over here. Getting lots of work done while enjoying the unexpected return of summer, after a few fall like weeks.
My friend Alison took me to see the Beekman 1802 Boys at Proctor’s over the weekend. If you don’t know much about them, they are from Sharon Springs, NY. They bought an old farm and have a great story of why they started their own business and how they landed a show on TV about the farm and ended winning the Amazing Race as well. They were so genuine and nice!
This week’s furniture makeover is a simple but pretty makeover that was done as a custom order. Here’s the dresser before:
The hardware had to go and we wanted this piece to have a feminine design. We painted it with Benjamin Moore’s color Venetian Rose, distressed it, and finished with a satin protective clear coat. If you want to see how we paint furniture, check out our How to Paint Furniture post.
