Sage Distressed Cabinet

Hi Friends!

How are you? I hope your week is going well! We are knee deep in the kitchen renovation and so close to being done. I’ll share more pictures soon, I promise! I’m going to keep this week’s makeover on the short and sweet side if you don’t mind. :)

Laura reached out to us about redoing a couple of furniture pieces for her. Here’s one of the projects before:

She wanted it to be a soft sage color and heavily distressed. It had a lot of chipping so we had to repair that and then painted it black so that when it was distressed it would look dark everywhere (even where the damage was repaired). Then we went with Benjamin Moore’s Rosemary Sprig color, heavily distressed it and then sprayed it with a protective clear coat. If you want to see how we paint furniture, check out our How to Paint Furniture post.

This piece isn’t available but you can check out other new furniture for sale on our website here or let us know if you could use some help with decorating. Please use our Contact Us form or stop by our store at 272 River Street, Troy, NY. I also added quite a few other new pieces to the store!
