Hi All!
How are you? We enjoyed a beautiful week in Ocean City, NJ last week and are back to getting everything into high gear for the holidays and for school starting this week. Nine years ago John and I decided we wanted to have a place our kids would remember as being “our family vacation spot”. We picked Ocean City, Nj because it was family friendly, in our budget, and a dry town with no partying. Each year has been a little different as far as which part of my family could join us, but we have almost a decade of memories in this special place with the people we love so dearly. Thanking God for this gift (even on years when we couldn’t afford it and others made it possible for us to be here). It’s a gift I’m grateful for every year!
Here’s our family picture on the beach!!
This week, I wanted to show you a beautiful french provincial dresser makeover that we did as a custom order. Here it is before:
Our clients home was beautiful but they wanted to move out of the french, chic style and add a little bit more of a traditional, glam look to their entryway. For this piece, we went with Benjamin Moore’s color Chelsea Gray. If you want to see how we paint furniture, check out our How to Paint Furniture post. After we painted it, we lightly glazed it, and sprayed a protective clear coat over the top. All new hardware also created such a different look!
Although this was a custom piece, no worries, we have other new pieces available for you to buy on our for sale page right now. Here are just a few:
