Hi Friends!
How’s your week going? We had a pretty amazing week last week when Elisa Streeter from News 10 called and asked if she could do a special report on FunCycled. I’ve been watching Elisa on the news since I was a little girl and it was such an honor that she asked us for the interview. She was so professional, classy, caring. I felt like Barbara Walters or Diane Sawyer was in my living room – genuinely caring and asking all about our life. She also told me she would be announcing her retirement the next day and this was probably going to be her last special report – a special thing for her. Here are some pictures from the special day:

This week’s furniture makeover started as a mid century piece that needed some love:
We painted the outside Black by Benjamin Moore, sanded and stained the drawer fronts, and added a gold on the edge of each drawer. We also sprayed it with a protective clear coat and sprayed the hardware gold to make it pop. If you want to see how we paint furniture, check out our How to Paint Furniture post.
