How are you? I hope you’re all having a great summer. I’m on a quick weekend getaway with my mom and my daughter. This is the first time we’ve ever done a girls weekend away with the three of us and I’m loving every minute. Such many memories to cherish for the rest of our lives.
This week’s kitchen makeover was for a wonderful client, Brooke! She wanted to transform her kitchen cabinets from an almond color with a black island to a bright white with a dark gray island. They questioned if that slight of a color change would make a big enough difference in the space, but the makeover was like night and day.

It’s really hard to tell in these pictures but there are patterns on every door with X’s engraved into the doors. Brooke decided to have us sand them all the way out so they wouldn’t show once the cabinets were painted. We also changed out the fancy, outdated hinges for hidden, soft closing hinges.
We painted the cabinets with Benjamin Moore’s Simply White and sprayed them with a protective clear coat. We painted the island Benjamin Moore’s Amherst Gray. I love the contrast! Thank you for being so fun to work with, Brooke!
