Here’s how purchases, refunds, gift cards and shipping work at FunCycled. If you have any questions before you buy, email sarah@funcycled.com or call 518-629-5386. You can also ask us for a written copy of this policy at any time.
Refund policy
Furniture, repurposed pieces and artwork
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges or store credit on furniture, repurposed pieces or artwork. Many of our pieces are one of a kind, vintage or hand-painted, so please look closely at the photos and description, and ask us any questions, before you buy. Small marks, wear and variations in vintage and hand-painted pieces are part of their character. There are no restocking fees because we do not accept returns.
Design consultations
A 1-hour design consultation is $395 plus tax and is paid in full when you book. You can reschedule at no charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. Consultation payments are non-refundable, but if you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice, we’ll hold your payment as a credit toward another consultation. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice lose the credit.
Deposits for design, kitchen and furniture projects
Projects are reserved with a deposit, as listed in your proposal or contract. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel. Your contract explains the full payment schedule.
Gift cards
TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE APPLIED TO GIFT CERTIFICATES/GIFT CARDS.
- FunCycled gift cards can be used toward a 1-hour design consultation, in person or virtual.
- Gift cards do not expire.
- There are no fees of any kind on our gift cards.
- Gift cards are non-refundable and can’t be exchanged for cash.
- If you lose your gift card, contact us and we’ll replace it.
- To use a gift card, contact us to schedule your consultation.
Shipping, delivery and pickup
- Furniture and repurposed pieces can ship anywhere in the U.S. through UShip. You book your own shipping on UShip.com and pay the shipper directly. If anything is damaged in shipping, please work with your shipper for a claim or refund, since FunCycled does not handle the shipment.
- Local delivery or pickup (in the Capital Region) is $150 for up to 30 minutes away and $200 for 30 to 60 minutes away. Farther trips are quoted. These fees apply to shop purchases and client furniture projects.
- Artwork ships by FedEx for a set fee based on its size.
- Free pickup: You can pick up your purchase at our shop in Wynantskill, NY, by appointment, and skip the delivery fee.
Sales tax
New York sales tax is added to purchases and services as required by law.
No warranties
Our products and services are sold as described, without additional warranties or guarantees.
