Black and Lime Green Inspiration – Tuesday’s Treasures

Hi Friends!

This week I want to share with you quick before and after pictures of three pieces that went into a room as a matching set. Mary Jo reached out to us to revive some furniture pieces that have been in her family for a very long time. She loved them, but her house has more of a vintage modern flair so she wanted to bring these babies to life with some color.

Here they are before.

I loved the lines of all three pieces, but definitely agreed they could use a face lift. We used the same color that Mary Jo had on her accent wall in her office which is Benjamin Moore’s Grape Green 2027-40 for the inside of the hutch. We used Benjamin Moore’s Metal and Wood Enamel in black. John cut new bases for both chairs, added cushioning and upholstered the top with fabric Mary Jo had picked out.

Here they are after!! I love how they all came together in the room, too!

Happy redesigns everyone,

Sarah
