Green Kitchen Cabinets – Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Hi Friends!

How was your weekend? In upstate NY, most people already know that we usually get one decent sized snow storm in March before the snow goes away for the winter. We had another storm here on Saturday and I’m hoping it’s the last one for the year! Here’s hoping, right?!?

For this week’s makeover, I thought it would be fun to share a green makeover in honor of St. Patty’s Day! A kitchen makeover that’s green? That’s right!

This kitchen makeover is near and dear to my heart because it was for Katie and Dan. They started shopping at FunCycled and having us redo their furniture years ago. Since then, they’ve become dear friends!

My whole family also adores their dog, Walter. Walter wanted to be in every single kitchen picture. Hahahaha

Their kitchen wasn’t bad before, but Katie loves color and wanted a pop and fun design in the kitchen. In addition to having the cabinets painted, they also had a Quartz counter and backsplash installed, we installed a new hood vent, shiplap on the back of the peninsula, and all new hardware.

Here’s the kitchen before:

We painted the kitchen cabinets Tarrytown Green by Benjamin Moore and sprayed them with a protective clear coat.

Ready for the after photos?

A big thank you to Katie and Dan for hiring us for this project in your new house. The house is coming together and I’m so proud of you both for working through updating an old home. Little by Little 💕

Could your kitchen use an update? We’d love to help!! We can help pick out colors, finishes, product and do the cabinet painting, tiling, add new hardware. You can use our Contact Us form to request our design services or a quote for painting your kitchen. Please check out other kitchen projects on our For Sale page. We’ll need to see a picture of your kitchen, a list of how many doors and drawers there are, and where you are located to email you an estimate. This change ups the value of your home and gives you a whole new look at a fraction of the cost of new kitchen cabinets!

Thank you all for following along! If you’d like to get this blog in your email once a week, please sign up for our weekly newsletter by adding your email in the little box below my picture.
