Hi Friends!
Happy 2023!!! This month marks our 11th year in business! I can barely believe it and want to say thank you so much to each of you for sharing our business with your friends, buying our furniture, hiring me to do design work for you, or asking us to paint your kitchen cabinets. Without YOU there is no FunCycled.
This year, I’ll be turning 40 in October! To celebrate, I’m planning to do 40 new experience this year! I’ll share them as I do them to give you some ideas to try yourself if you’d like to join in with me. If you have a unique experience you’ve done, please share it in the comments to give me more ideas.
This week, I checked 2 off the list! I colored my hair an unnatural hair color for the first time ever. I went with rose gold which is hard to tell from photos, but here it is:
I also got a second ear piercing! Harmony has been wanting one so I thought this could be another new experience that she could do with me.

For this week’s furniture makeover, I wanted to share a dresser set that we updated with paint!
Here are the dressers before:
We kept most of this piece as is; just painted it with Benjamin Moore’s Steam AF-15, glazed it, and sprayed it with a protective clear coat.

This set was done as a custom order so it’s not for sale, but I still wanted to share the transformation.
