Heavily Distressed Black Dresser Set

Hi Friends!

How was your weekend? We had a beautiful one! Filled with church, friends, and family. One of my favorite moments was doing ministry side by side with my daughter. This is one of things I’ve dreamed about for years. I started a bi-annual women’s event called Ignite for women in the capital district to be encouraged in their faith and to also build community. We had an event last Saturday and Harmony helped with the hospitality team. Such a joy to my heart!

For this week’s furniture makeover, I wanted to share a transformation style that is absolutely timeless; check out these dresser before:

Tim reached out because these were his grandparents dressers, but the style didn’t work well for his house.

We painted it Benjamin Moore’s color Black then we heavily distressed it, painted the hardware black, and sprayed it with a protective clear coat.

If you want to see how we paint furniture, check out our How to Paint Furniture post.

Ready for the afters?

This dresser set was done as a custom order, but head to our Shop Page to check out other available items!
