Repainting an Christy’s Old Painted Dresser

Hi Friends! 

How are you? Today, I want to talk to you about furniture. Not politic or COVID or anything else… just pretty furniture. This week’s furniture makeover was for my dear friend Christy. Right at the beginning of COVID, Christy reached out in the kindest way (as always) to see how she could send a project our way to keep money coming in. That meant more than she even knows and helped our family! 

She had painted this dresser for her son when he was a little boy and now she wanted to use it in a different way in her house. 

Here it is before: 

We repainted it Benjamin Moore’s Simply White and sprayed it all with protective clear coat.

We also changed it from pull to knobs and, to me, it doesn’t even look like the same dresser.
