Taking Flat Oak Cabinets and Adding Shaker Trim

Hi Friends!

How are you? I hope all is going well! We are in the middle of redoing a huge kitchen up in Brant Lake and I can’t wait to share that with you! We also announced on our Facebook page that we will be hosting a Holiday Vendor Show and House Tour on December 10th. Please join us that night and invite your friends to come along!

For this week’s transformation, I wanted to show you a big transformation of a tiny kitchen. Here’s the kitchen before:

John took the existing doors and added framing to make them shaker style, then we added new hardware as well. We painted all the cabinets Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore.

Ready for the afters??

Our client couldn’t access the items in the corner of her cabinets so she asked us if we could open up the back side and add a door. Why not add a barn door, I asked?? She loved that idea and this was one of my favorite parts of the makeover. How cute is this???

And what an amazing transformation on the cabinet doors, too?

What a transformation, right? If you’d like us to create this transformation for your kitchen, use our Contact Us form or check out other kitchen projects on our For Sale page. We’ll need to see a picture of your kitchen, a list of how many doors and drawers there are, and were you are located to email you an estimate. This change ups the value of your home and gives you a whole new look at a fraction of the cost of new kitchen cabinets!

Also, check out our store for new furniture available this week:
