How was your week?
We were blessed with another busy work weekend with the Victorian Stroll happening in downtown Troy. The streets were filled and our store followed suite. So much fun! Thanks again to all of you who came to shop and support all of the local businesses in our community.
People often ask me if when I see a piece whether I know right away how I would like to redo it? Often, I don’t but in this case I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this buffet. It was low and solid which is hard to find so I knew it could make an awesome entertainment center. I wanted to take those doors off and add barn wood and I really wanted to keep it looking modern with a bright white color.
So that’s just what we did! Take a look at the before!
We painted the outside with Benjamin Moore’s color Simply White and added the barn doors with multiple hinges so they fold in half and don’t take up as much spaced on either side. If you want to see how we paint furniture, check out our How to Paint Furniture post.
