Behr’s Secluded Woods Dresser Makeover

Hi Friends!

How was your weekend? We had a great one!! I’ll share more details soon, but for this week’s makeover, I wanted to show you a dresser that we recently redid for our store.

Today, John and I celebrate our 19th anniversary! Nineteen years is enough reason to celebrate, but today feels even more special because I was married when I was 19. So this marks the start of being married more than half my life! If you want to see what special ways we are celebrating, be sure to follow our stories on Instagram and Facebook this week.

Here’s the dresser before:

We painted it Behr’s Secluded Woods color and added new hardware. We also removed some of the decorative details on the front that we didn’t like. We also sprayed it with a protective clear coat.

If you want to see how we paint furniture, check out our How to Paint Furniture post.

Ready for the afters?

The green from the trees throws off the coloring a bit. For a better representations, check out this photo from Home Depot:

This dresser is available soon to purchase! Head to our Shop Page to check see if it’s available!

Thank you all for following along! If you’d like to get this blog in your email once a week, please sign up for our weekly newsletter by adding your email in the little box below my picture.
